Under the stage name Brayden Patterson, Brian Newman has built a multifaceted career as an actor, film director, and producer. His passion for performance ignited early, when he appeared as a background extra in a church Christmas play—a moment that set him on a lifelong path in the arts.

After securing representation with Cast Images Talent Agency, Patterson enrolled in professional acting classes to refine his craft. He was later invited to attend the International Presentation of Performers (iPOP) in Los Angeles, though he chose to decline this early career opportunity.

Patterson’s first major role came as Zeus in the independent feature film *Hercules: The Brave and The Bold*, currently in production. The film also opened doors to television, as he and fellow cast members are set to appear on an episode of *ThriveTV*, a new CAW Productions series airing on Mayhem Network.

He next worked as an extra in the short film *Hero Man*, which premiered at the Tivoli Theatre on July 11, 2012, as part of Cinema St. Louis’s Filmmaker Showcase. The film has since traveled to festivals worldwide.

In 2012, Patterson took on roles in three additional short films: *Resolve* and *To Inflict*, where he portrayed a drug trafficker gamer in a road rage narrative. That same year, he stepped into producing for the first time, further expanding his creative footprint in independent cinema.
