Diane Blaine has the kind of face that belongs on a movie screen—but it’s already famous, thanks to fallen star Jamie Stephens. Constant rejection over what Diane calls “TJS” (“Too Jamie Stephens”) has turned her bitter, frustrated, and, yes, whiny. Her boyfriend and co-worker Jack Sanders isn’t much help. His big ambition? Letting things ride. Now he’s deep in debt with a trigger-happy mobster who just happens to be obsessed with Jamie Stephens. Jack’s only way out: convince Diane to pose as Jamie for one dinner with the mobster to wipe the debt clean. It’s the performance of a lifetime—and Jack’s life is on the line.
