In 1979, four misfits in Wichita, Kansas, formed the Embarrassment, a blister-punk band too raw and stubborn for fame. They won over Allen Ginsberg, John Cale, and Jonathan Demme, but their refusal to bend made success slip away. Using old interviews and live footage, this documentary finally paints a portrait of the post-punk cult heroes the world overlooked.
