National Theatre Live: Hamlet

As part of the National Theatre's 50th anniversary festivities, a 2010 staging of Hamlet is set to grace cinemas once again. Rory Kinnear takes on the role of Hamlet in this vibrant new interpretation of Shakespeare’s intricate exploration of humanity, following his acclaimed performances in Burnt by the Sun, The Revenger's Tragedy, Philistines, and The Man of Mode. Directed by Nicholas Hytner, the cast also features Clare Higgins as Gertrude, Patrick Malahide as Claudius, David Calder as Polonius, James Laurenson as the Ghost/Player King, and Ruth Negga as Ophelia.
