An ordinary man—six times more terrified of ghosts than anyone else—finds himself dragged into the paranormal. His nightmare begins when he meets Mechako, a bold girl who leads the Kaiki-gumi, a group that keeps supernatural beings in check. She forces him to join her mission to rebuild the organization.
