Originally slated for a fall premiere, it was postponed due to the success of another series, Call to Glory, before finally launching on January 4 at 9:00 PM Eastern. Although it concluded on May 16, 1985, Street Hawk found a second life with reruns on the USA Network from 1990 to 1991.
